Our Guiding Principles
Our Guiding Principles
Our Guiding Principles underpin the way in which we manage and deliver our provision
1. Rigorous pursuit of academic achievement
We believe children can only develop their full potential both academically and creatively if they have mastered the basic skills of literacy, numeracy, and communication. The curriculum and staff structure is developed with a view to ensuring that the school’s academic results compete with the best available.
2. Committed approach to the teaching of Judaism
The Jewish educational, historical and cultural experience provides a model that has underpinned societies all over the world for generations. Rimon is committed to ensuring that children are equipped with the tools required to feel comfortable and interested in the world of Judaism
3. International Awareness
Rimon strives to be a local school for a global city, where an appreciation of international issues will be ingrained in multiple elements of the curriculum.
4. Preservation of the environment - Tikun Olam
Judaism teaches that we have a responsibility to take care of the world for future generations. Rimon is committed to ingraining these values in all children and staff.
5. A commitment to excellent SEN provision
All children, regardless of ability, have the right to make progress and achieve their potential. We believe that wherever possible children with special education needs should have those needs met in a mainstream classroom and that having those children in the classroom benefits all the children in the class.
JCAT
Rimon is a member of the Jewish Community Academy Trust (JCAT).

JCAT is an ambitious family of schools committed to embracing Jewish values and identity as well as making a meaningful contribution to the Jewish community and wider society. It is united in learning and in delivering a high quality, nurturing educational environment for all children.

The JCAT family currently consists of:
-
Hertsmere Jewish Primary School
-
Rimon Jewish Primary School
-
Sacks Morasha Jewish Primary School
-
Wolfson Hillel Primary School

JCAT is modern and centrist Orthodox in outlook, under the religious authority of the Chief Rabbi. It is committed to providing an immersive Jewish experience and education for all students, tailored to the specific needs of each of our academies.

It is a centre of educational excellence with a focus on maintaining the highest possible ratio of teaching staff to students. Through this method, we take an inclusive approach to enable every child to make the best possible progress.

We are focused on building strong relationships between school, the home and the community – a triangulation which is at the centre of a successful and transformative educational and Jewish environment.
School Inspections
We value the feedback of both OFSTED and Pikuach. You can download our most recent inspection reports, which were completed in 2018 (OFSTED) and 2019 (Pikuach).
