"The chess tournament was extremely fun. There were 6 people at the tournament from Rimon; Years 2, 3 and 4. There were 5 rounds in the semi-final. The final results have not come yet but the chess teacher, Mr Fleetwood said “ We are not sure which place Rimon came in but they came really high in the league “. Sadly though, Rimon has not qualified for the final. Rimon has done really really well. Last year, because of the pandemic, Covid 19, no-one could play. Rimon has done their best since it started in 2012 which was a very long time ago probably before most people at the school were born."
